Installed some of these Smart devices to control non smart lighting.

The living room, passage and bedroom already were easy to convert to smart lights. However the Bathroom and the Kitchen have neon strip lighting.

My solution was to acquire some smart switches and install them behind the back boxes of the light switches. The one for the kitchen light was quite simple. It is a double switch that also serves the living room lights. The one for the bathroom was a bit more crammed as it is a double socket that serves the hall way and the bathroom. The hallway section is a two way switch.
